Nalin Rana set to join Tata Elxsi as CFO; Gaurav Bajaj resigns

Bajaj has resigned to pursue opportunities outside the organisation, Tata Elxsi disclosed in an exchange filing.

Nalin Rana is set to join Tata Elxsi as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Rana will succeed Gaurav Bajaj, effective May 30, 2026.

Bajaj has resigned to pursue opportunities outside Tata Elxsi, the company disclosed in an exchange filing.

Bajaj has been associated with Tata Elxsi since January, 2021, he joined the company as Vice President and Head of Finance and subsequently became the CFO in August 2021. Prior to joining Tata Elxsi, Bajaj worked at Wipro, IBM and ETA Ascon.

“The Board has approved the appointment of Mr. Nalin Rana as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company effective May 30, 2026, succeeding Mr. Gaurav Bajaj. He will serve as a Key Managerial Personnel of the Company in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013,” Tata Elxsi noted.

Advt With over 17 years of experience, Rana joined Tata Group in 2021 and is currently a senior leader in the Group CFO and Group Strategy Office of Tata Sons and a member of the board at Tata Teleservices and Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited.

Prior to joining Tata Group, Rana was an Executive Director in the investment banking team at Standard Chartered Bank where he was responsible for business development and execution. Rana advised Indian and global clients on M&A and fund-raising transactions of over USD 15 billion across multiple sectors.
